Sketching Analysis

This project showcases students' skills in conducting research analyses on diverse architectural structures spanning historical periods. The methodologies employed include sketching techniques, literature reviews, and meticulous documentation. Additionally, the project involves the creation of foundational works such as sketches and diagrams based on the research findings.

The student will conduct a research and architectural analysis on a selected building. Each student will select FIVE buildings from the given list. Students may also choose their own historical buildings, subject to the agreement

of the lecturer.

This assignment is arguably my favourite assignment in AHT, and that's because it allows me to play to my full strengths, which are drawing and watercolouring, both of which are also my interests.

The process of completing this assignment went very smoothly and the final outcome made me feel very accomplished.

Throughout this assignment, I have developed the ability to capture and translate information into drawings accurately and clearly. It was essential to pay attention to every detail and ensure that the drawings presented in-depth observations. By focusing on accuracy and precision, I successfully communicated information effectively and creatively through visual communication.
