Structure and Body: Materials, Anthropometric and Ergonomic Exploration1: 1 Bamboo Activity Structure
This assignment focuses on creating awareness and understanding of anthropometry, ergonomics, and their connection to form and space. It also introduces fundamental concepts in structure, design principles, and architectural terms applicable to spatial configuration. Participants will actively work on a structure installation, exploring materiality, spatial quality, human scale, and form articulation. Collaborative interaction with tutors is encouraged for idea exchange throughout the assignment.
REFLECTION
Exploring space, I've linked personal identity to experiential qualities, understanding how the 'self' and body impact our interaction with surroundings. Additionally, grasping materiality and detailing as tools to capture design experiences enriches my ability to shape visually engaging and sensory-rich environments.
